Fire in Apartment Complex
An apartment complex experienced a large fire that resulted in extensive damage from fire, smoke, and water throughout all of the units. The picture shows the kitchen days after the fire. Notice that the after photo of the kitchen shows that it was expanded to give the tenants more floor space, with the flooring redone. The stove was moved to the opposite wall with more counter space and cabinets. New and taller cabinets allowed for more storage space, an essential part of apartment living. As part of the response from SERVPRO of Edina / Eden Prairie, the interior was dried from the fire department's response, with air movers and other equipment used to reduce the smell of smoke damage.
